IN FY24, THE ORGANIZATION LEVERAGED A STAFF OF 4.5 TO 6 TO MANAGE 966 VOLUNTEERS WHO PROVIDED LEGAL SERVICES AND TRAINING WORTH OVER 14.5 MILLION DOLLARS TO 262 LOW-INCOME AND HOMELESS PEOPLE AND 240 NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS SERVING VULNERABLE COMMUNITIES. A TOTAL OF 589 VOLUNTEERS ASSISTED THE ORGANIZATION IN HOSTING LEGAL WORKSHOPS AND PROVIDING RESOURCES FOR NONPROFITS. THE NONPROFIT ASSISTANCE PROGRAM MATCHED 94 NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS WITH ATTORNEYS PROVIDING PRO BONO FULL REPRESENTATION ASSISTANCE AND 70 NONPROFITS WITH ATTORNEYS PROVIDING ON-SITE REPRESENTATION ON MATTERS WITH FINITE SCOPE THROUGH CLINIC-STYLE CONSULTATION PROGRAMS; PROVIDED IN-HOUSE BRIEF COUNSEL TO 76 NONPROFITS; AND RAN 17 LEGAL WORKSHOPS FOR NONPROFITS WITH 596 ATTENDEES. FIRM PARTNERS REPORTED 6,441 HOURS OF LEGAL SERVICE VALUED AT 6 MILLION DOLLARS. ADDITIONALLY, THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES FREE LEGAL ASSISTANCE CLINICS TO HOMELESS AND LOW-INCOME INDIVIDUALS FACING CIVIL LEGAL ISSUES AND SEEKING CRIMINAL RECORD SEALING AND EXPUNGEMENT. TWO HUNDRED SIXTY-TWO (262) LEGAL CLINIC PROGRAM CLIENTS WERE SERVED BY 351 VOLUNTEERS AT 40 CLINICS. NINETEEN (19) OF 21 FIRM PARTNERS HAVE REPORTED 9,782 HOURS OF LEGAL SERVICE VALUED AT 8.5 MILLION DOLLARS. THE ORGANIZATION'S THIRD PROGRAM, THE ACCESS TO JUSTICE FELLOWS PROGRAM, MATCHES "A2J FELLOWS" - SENIOR AND RETIRED ATTORNEYS - WITH PARTNER ORGANIZATIONS, INCLUDING NONPROFITS, COURTS, AND PUBLIC SERVICE ENTITIES IN MASSACHUSETTS FOCUSED ON INCREASING ACCESS TO JUSTICE FOR PERSONS IN THE COMMONWEALTH.
