DURING 2021 ONE NEW RESEARCH PROJECT WAS PUBLISHED BY THE BARBARA LEE FAMILY FOUNDATION:"STAYING POWER: STRATEGIES FOR WOMEN INCUMBENTS" IS NONPARTISAN RESEARCH THAT ILLUMINATES HOW WOMEN ELECTED OFFICIALS MIGHT EFFECTIVELY NAVIGATE A CAMPAIGN AGAINST A FEMALE OPPONENT. WE BELIEVE THIS TOPIC WILL BE OF INTEREST TO OTHER RESEARCHERS, THE BROADER PUBLIC, AND ESPECIALLY WOMEN OFFICIALS AND THEIR ADVISORS AT ALL LEVELS AS THEY SHAPE THEIR OVERALL CAMPAIGN STRATEGY.
