OUR MISSION IS TO INCREASE THE VISIBILITY AND OPPORTUNITIES FOR WOMEN ARTISTS. WE PROVIDE FREE INFORMATION AND ADVICE TO ARTISTS THROUGH OUR WEBSITE AND NEWSLETTERS, AND WE COLLABORATE WITH OTHER NON-PROFITS ON AN ANNUAL INTERNATIONAL CELEBRATION CALLED SUPPORT WOMEN ARTISTS NOW DAY/SWAN DAY.

ONLINE RESOURCES: WOMENARTS PROVIDES A VARIETY OF FREE ONLINE SERVICES DESIGNED TO INCREASE THE OPPORTUNITIES & VISIBILITY OF WOMEN ARTISTS. WE MAINTAIN A WEBSITE WITH HUNDREDS OF PAGES OF EDUCATIONAL INFORMATION FOR WOMEN ARTISTS, ARTICLES ABOUT INSPIRING WOMEN ARTISTS AROUND THE WORLD, AND LINKS TO RESEARCH STUDIES AND FUNDING INFORMATION.
COLLABORATIONS WITH OTHER NON-PROFITS: SINCE TIMES ARE HARD FOR SMALL NON-PROFITS LIKE OURS, WE ARE BUILDING ALLIANCES WITH OTHER NON-PROFITS DEDICATED TO WOMEN ARTISTS. WE COLLABORATE WITH OTHER NON-PROFITS ON AN ANNUAL INTERNATIONAL CELEBRATION OF WOMEN ARTISTS IN ALL ART FORMS CALLED SUPPORT WOMEN ARTISTS NOW DAY OR SWAN DAY FOR SHORT, WHICH TAKES PLACE DURING MARCH (WOMEN'S HISTORY MONTH). DURING 2021-22 WE PROVIDED FUNDING TO 6 NON-PROFIT GROUPS THAT ORGANIZED SWAN EVENTS. WE ALSO PROVIDED FUNDING TO THE NON-PROFIT WAM THEATRE, A COMPANY DEDICATED TO PRESENTING WORKS WRITTEN AND DIRECTED BY WOMEN, TO SUPPORT THEIR MOVE TO A NEW OFFICE SPACE.
