IN NOVEMBER 2022, WOMEN IN DEVELOPMENT OF GREATER BOSTON (WIDGB) KICKED OFF ITS 43RD YEAR WITH A FALL KICK-OFF KEYNOTE PROGRAM. IN TOTAL 230 GUESTS ATTENDED THIS PROGRAM. THE TOPIC WAS DESIGNED TO ENHANCE DIFFERENT AREAS OF KNOWLEDGE FOR WOMEN WHO WORK IN FUNDRAISING/DEVELOPMENT IN A VARIETY OF NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS IN THE COMMUNITY. IN ADDITION TO THE KEYNOTE EVENTS, WID ALSO SPONSORED FIVE (5) VIRTUAL MONTHLY PROGRAMS AND ONE IN PERSON PROGRAM FROM 9/1/21-8/31/22 ATTENDED BY A TOTAL OF 233 PEOPLE, OF WHICH 117 WERE WID MEMBERS AND 116 NON-MEMBERS. THESE PROGRAMS WERE DESIGNED TO ENHANCE DIFFERENT TYPES OF FUNDRAISING SKILLS OF THOSE WHO ATTENDED. THE MEMBERSHIP COMMITTEE SPONSORED ONE VIRTUAL NEW MEMBER BREAKFAST PROGRAM FORMALLY WELCOMING 24 NEW MEMBERS TO WID. THEY ALSO SPONSORED 3 (THREE) SPECIAL MEMBERS ONLY PROGRAMS ATTENDED BY 222 MEMBERS. OUR PROGRAM YEAR CONCLUDED WITH WID'S ANNUAL MEETING BREAKFAST IN JUNE 2023 ATTENDED BY 219 GUESTS OF WHOM 85 WERE MEMBERS AND 134 NON-MEMBERS.
