IN NOVEMBER 2020, WOMEN IN DEVELOPMENT OF GREATER BOSTON (WIDGB) KICKED OFF ITS 41ST YEAR WITH A FALL KICK-OFF KEYNOTE PROGRAM. IN TOTAL 103 GUESTS ATTENDED THIS PROGRAM. THE TOPIC WAS DESIGNED TO ENHANCE DIFFERENT AREAS OF KNOWLEDGE FOR WOMEN WHO WORK IN FUNDRAISING/DEVELOPMENT IN A VARIETY OF NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS IN THE COMMUNITY.IN ADDITION TO THE KEYNOTE EVENTS, WID ALSO SPONSORED SIX (8) VIRTUAL MONTHLY PROGRAMS FROM 9/1/20-8/31/21 ATTENDED BY A TOTAL OF 797 PEOPLE, OF WHICH 488 WERE WID MEMBERS AND 309 NON-MEMBERS. THESE PROGRAMS WERE DESIGNED TO ENHANCE DIFFERENT TYPES OF FUNDRAISING SKILLS OF THOSE WHO ATTENDED. THE MEMBERSHIP COMMITTEE SPONSORED (2) VIRTUAL NEW MEMBER BREAKFAST PROGRAMS FORMALLY WELCOMING 70 NEW MEMBERS TO WID.
