DCCA PROVIDES THE SPACE, EQUIPMENT AND EXPERTISE TO TEACH MEMBERS OF THE COMMUNITY, INCLUDING TEACHERS AND STUDENTS, TO VIDEOTAPE, EDIT AND PRODUCE PROGRAMS OF LOCAL INTEREST; AND PROVIDES PUBLIC ACCESS TELEVISION FOR THE TOWN OF DALTON AND SURROUNDING TOWNS (BROADCASTING TO A COMMUNITY OF SOME 54,000). GRANT INCOME AND EXPENSES ARE USED TO PRODUCE EDUCATIONAL VIDEOS FOR AREA SCHOOLS AND LIBRARIES, AS WELL AS FOR COMMUNITY TELEVISION USE.
