GIRLS INC. OF THE VALLEY INSPIRES ALL GIRLS, AGES 5-18, TO BE STRONG, SMART, AND BOLD BY PROVIDING THEM THE OPPORTUNITY TO DEVELOP AND ACHIEVE THEIR FULL POTENTIAL.

ELEMENTARY SCHOOL PROGRAMS (ESP): GIRLS INC.'S PROGRAMS FOR GIRLS AGES 5-12 ARE OFFERED AT 6 OPEN SQUARE WAY IN HOLYOKE, AND THROUGH SCHOOL PARTNERSHIPS IN HOLYOKE, SPRINGFIELD, AND CHICOPEE. OUR PROGRAMS PROVIDE RICH EDUCATIONAL EXPERIENCES THAT HELP GIRLS REACH DEVELOPMENTAL MILESTONES AND SUCCEED IN SCHOOL. WHILE THE PROGRAMS HAVE AN ACADEMIC FOCUS, THERE IS A STRONG EMPHASIS ON SOCIAL EMOTIONAL LEARNING AS WELL, BUILDING A SUPPORTIVE COMMUNITY OF CONFIDENT, DIRECTED GIRLS. PROGRAM STAFF ALSO OFFERED A VARIETY OF REMOTE/VIRTUAL EXPERIENCES FOR PARTICIPANTS.


MIDDLE AND HIGH SCHOOL PROGRAMS (MHSP): GIRLS INC. SERVES GIRLS AGES 12-18 AT OUR TEEN CENTER IN HOLYOKE, AND THROUGH SCHOOL PARTNERSHIPS IN HOLYOKE, SPRINGFIELD, AND CHICOPEE. WE PROVIDE EDUCATIONAL AND LEADERSHIP OPPORTUNITIES THROUGH 4 INTERCONNECTED COMPONENTS: 1) INTEGRATIVE EDUCATION, COMBINING ACADEMIC SUPPORT, AND FINANCIAL AND STEM LITERACY; 2) HEALTHY SEXUALITY; 3) COLLEGE ACCESS; AND 4) LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT. WE ALSO OFFER EUREKA! A 5-YEAR STEM EDUCATION PROGRAM IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE UNIVERSITY OF MASSACHUSETTS.
