THE PIC BROKERS JOBS AND INTERNSHIPS FOR PUBLIC HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS OVERSEES BOSTON'S ONE STOP CAREER CENTERS AND RELATED JOB TRAINING AND DEVELOPS POLICY POSITIONS THAT INFORM EDUCATION.

BOSTON SUMMER JOBS PROGRAM - PROVIDED STUDENT WAGES FOR INTERNSHIPS AND STIPENDS FOR OTHER CAREER DEVELOPMENT ACTIVITIES. ENGAGED COMMUNITY-BASED ORGANIZATIONS TO SUPERVISE STUDENTS PAID THROUGH THE PROGRAM. PROVIDED WORK READINESS TRAINING AND CAREER EXPLORATION FOR STUDENTS EMPLOYED THROUGH THE PROGRAM AND REMAINED AVAILABLE TO STUDENTS AND SUPERVISORS PROGRAM WORKSITES THROUGHOUT THE SUMMER TO ADDRESS ANY ISSUES THAT SURFACED.
