PUBLIC POLICY - PUBLIC POLICY INCLUDES ALL OF THE ACTIVITIES UNDERTAKEN BY THE ASSOCIATION TO ANALYZE, COMMUNICATE ABOUT, AND WORK TO INFLUENCE PUBLIC POLICY RELATED TO AGING SERVICES. SUCH ACTIVITIES INCLUDE ATTENDING AND PARTICIPATING IN MEETINGS, WORKING GROUPS, AND ADVISORY COUNCIL MEETINGS WITH STATE AGENCY REPRESENTATIVES ON POLICY MATTERS AFFECTING LEADINGAGE MA MEMBERS, AS WELL AS ADVOCATING WITH LEGISLATORS AND STATE AGENCY PERSONNEL ON SPECIFIC LEGISLATIVE, BUDGETARY, AND REGULATORY MATTERS.
