FUNDED GRANTS PAYABLE TO USA BADMINTON, THE NATIONAL GOVERNING BODY FOR THE SPORT OF BADMINTON IN THE UNITED STATES. THE GRANTS WERE FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE SPORT OF BADMINTON. COACHING PROGRAMS WERE DEVELOPED AND FUNDED AND A TECHNICAL OFFICIAL TRAINING PROGRAM WAS FUNDED. A NUMBER OF AAHPERD CONFERENCES WERE SUPPORTED WITH EXHIBITIONS AND DEMONSTRATIONS. FUNDED A GRANT TO PA BADMINTON FOR CLASSROOM EXHIBITION OF HIGH LEVEL BADMINTON.
