LONGFELLOW'S WAYSIDE INN BRINGS THE EXPERIENCE OF EARLY AMERICAN LIFE TO OVER 100,000 VISITORS TO THE PROPERTY EACH YEAR. THE INN WAS INCORPORATED AS A 501 (C) (3) NON-PROFIT ORGANZIATION IN 1944 BY HENRY FORD WHO SOUGHT TO PRESERVE THE PROPERTY AS AN IMPORTANT EDUCATIONAL AND CULTURAL LANDMARK FOR EVERYONE TO ENJOY.
