THE ENVIRONMENTAL LEAGUE OF MASSACHUSETTS ACTION FUND BUILDS POLITICAL POWER THAT MEETS THE SCALE AND URGENCY OF OUR ENVIRONMENTAL CHALLENGES.BELOW ARE KEY ACTIVITIES AND PARTNERSHIPS: - RAISING ISSUES IN ELECTIONS: THE ELM ACTION FUND ELEVATES ENERGY AND ENVIRONMENTAL ISSUES IN CAMPAIGNS AT EVERY LEVEL OF GOVERNMENT. ALONG WITH OTHER NONPROFIT PARTNERS, THE ELM ACTION FUND HOSTS CANDIDATE FORUMS FOR LOCAL, STATE, AND FEDERAL OFFICES.- THE GREEN VOTER GUIDE: THE ELM ACTION FUND COORDINATES AN ONLINE RESOURCE TO ENABLE VOTERS TO IDENTIFY CANDIDATES FOR STATE OFFICE THAT HAVE EARNED THE ENDORSEMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL ORGANIZATIONS. - CAMPAIGN FELLOWSHIP PROGRAM: THE ELM ACTION FUND EMPLOYS COLLEGE AND GRADUATE STUDENTS AS PAID CAMPAIGN FELLOWS. FELLOWS SUPPORT A BROAD RANGE OF PROGRAMMATIC AND CAMPAIGN ACTIVITIES. - ENDORSEMENTS: THE ELM ACTION FUND ENDORSES CANDIDATES ON THE BASIS OF THEIR ENVIRONMENTAL LEADERSHIP AND SUPPORTS THOSE CANDIDATES THROUGH OUR POLITICAL ACTION COMMITTEE AND INDEPENDENT EXPENDITURE PAC. IN THE 2021 MUNICIPAL ELECTIONS, 16 OUT OF OUR 23 ENDORSED CANDIDATES WERE ELECTED TO OFFICE AND HAVE BEGUN TO LEAD ON ENVIRONMENTAL AND CLIMATE ISSUES.- LEAGUE OF CONSERVATION VOTERS: THE ELM ACTION FUND IS THE MASSACHUSETTS AFFILIATE OF THE NATIONAL LEAGUE OF CONSERVATION VOTERS (LCV). THE ELM ACTION FUND WORKS CLOSELY WITH LCV AND OTHER STATE AFFILIATES ON REGIONAL AND FEDERAL EFFORTS. ELM BECAME THE STATE AFFILIATE OF LCV IN 2015.
