HOLCOMB FARM'S COMMUNITY SUPPORTED AGRICULTURE PROGRAM ENCOURAGES HEALTHY LIVING TO THE PUBLIC THROUGH THE PRACTICE AND PROMOTION OF THE SUSTAINABLE PRODUCTION OF FRESH PRODUCE FOR FAMILIES IN THE GREATER HARTFORD AREA, EDUCATING THE PUBLIC THROUGH THE USE OF AN HISTORIC NEW ENGLAND FARM. EVERY YEAR THE FRESH ACCESS PROGRAM PROVIDES OVER FIVE TONS OF FRESH PRODUCE TO OVER 1300 PEOPLE WITH LIMITED ACCESS AND DIETARY NEEDS.
HOLCOMB FARM'S PROPERTY PRESERVATION PROGRAM RAISES FUNDING FOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS TO THE PROPERTY IN SUPPORT OF THE MISSION AND THE ONGOING PROGRAMS.
