SOME OF OUR ACCOMPLISHMENTS IN 2022 INCLUDE: - TRANSITIONED TO A NEW PROGRAM MANAGER LIZ NERHUS OTR L - HIRED A NEW BARN MANAGER GABY VON ACHEN - PROUD BENEFICIARY OF THE 11TH ANNUAL MEGGAN MORENCY WILD WEST NIGHT EVENT ENABLING US TO PROVIDE MUCH NEEDED THERAPY SERVICES TO LOW INCOME FAMILIES WITH CHILDREN WHO HAVE SPECIAL NEEDS. THIS EVENT RAISED OVER $140,000 TO SUPPORT OUR WORK - PURCHASED A NEW HORSE FOR OUR HERD LEVI - MENTORED TWO STAFF MEMBERS TO BECOME PATH INTERNATIONAL CERTIFIED THERAPEUTIC RIDING INSTRUCTORS. - UPGRADED OUR FACILITIES WITH A NEW WHEELCHAIR RAMP FOR THE MOUNTING BLOCK AND A NEWLY PAVED DRIVEWAY - PROVIDED CLINICAL INTERNSHIPS AND EDUCATIONAL WORKSHOPS FOR APPROXIMATELY 60 STUDENTS FROM MANY COLLEGES INCLUDING NOVA SOUTEASTERN UNIVERSITY CONCORDE CAREER INSITUTE KEISER UNIVERSITY AND ST. AUGUSTINE UNIVERSITY -PROVIDED MORE THAN 5,046 PHYSICAL OCCUPATIONAL AND SPEECH-LANGUAGE THERAPY SESSIONS - TRAINED AND UTILIZED OVER 200 VOLUNTEERS WHO ASSIST WITH THERAPY SESSIONS SPECIAL PROGRAMS AND MAINTENANCE OF OUR BBB PROPERTY. ALL TOGETHER THEY HAVE LOGGED AN ASTOUNDING 3,858 HOURS -HELD AN 8-WEEK SESSION FOR THE MARION CENTER SCHOOL TEACHING DEVELOPMENTALLY DELAYED ADULTS ADAPTIVE RIDING SKILLS AS WELL AS VOCATIONAL ,EDUCATION AND LIFE SKILLS. DURING THIS EVENTFUL YEAR WE PROVIDED THERAPY SESSIONS TO SEVERAL HUNDRED CLIENTS MAINLY CHILDREN WITH DIAGNOSES OF AUTISM CEREBRAL PALSY AND DOWNS SYNDROME TO NAME A FEW. OUR CLIENTS RANGED IN AGE FROM 18 MONTHS TO ADULTHOOD.
