THE NEGOTIATION FOR RIGHTS, OPTIONS, AND THE PURCHASE OF LANDS ADJACENT TO RIVERS AND STREAMS SO THAT OTHER NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS OR GOVERNMENTS CAN CONTROL THEIR USE AND PRESERVE THE WILDLIFE HABITAT, NATURAL COMMUNITIES, AND BIODIVERSITY ALONG RIVERS AND STREAMS. THE GOAL IS TO PROTECT THE LANDS ALONG THESE WATERS OF VERMONT FOR RECREATION, EDUCATION, AND AESTHETIC ENJOYMENT.
