THE PTO WORKS TO ENHANCE THE STUDENT EDUCATIONAL EXPERIENCE AT CARVER ELEMENTARY SCHOOL. PUBLIC MEETINGS ARE HELD MONTHLY AT THE SCHOOL FROM SEPTEMBER THROUGH MAY TO ENHANCE COMMUNICATION, PROMOTE INVOLVEMENT AND PROVIDE SUPPORT TO SCHOOL FAMILIES. FUNDRAISING IS CONDUCTED TO RAISE MONEY TO SUPPORT EACH CLASSROOM THROUGH PURCHASING NEEDED SUPPLIES, PROVIDE FIELD TRIPS FOR EACH GRADE LEVEL, ADDITIONAL PROGRAMMING AND SCHOOL ASSEMBLIES FOR THE STUDENTS.
