LEGAL/POLICY PROGRAM: THE ACLU OF NEW HAMPSHIRE ADVANCED THE PRINCIPLES ENSHRINED IN THE NEW HAMPSHIRE STATE CONSTITUTION AND THE U.S. CONSTITUTION THROUGH LITIGATION AND LEGISLATIVE ADVOCACY. IN COURTHOUSES ACROSS THE GRANITE STATE, OUR ATTORNEYS WORKED DEFENDING PEOPLE WHOSE RIGHTS HAVE BEEN VIOLATED AND FILING LAWSUITS AGAINST GOVERNMENT OVERREACH. AT THE NEW HAMPSHIRE STATE HOUSE, OUR ADVOCATES ADVANCED POLICIES AND LAWS THAT PROTECT CIVIL RIGHTS AND LIBERTIES IN NEW HAMPSHIRE.
