THE CENTER FOR CIVIC POLICY (CCP) RESEARCHES, DEVELOPS, AND ANALYZES PUBLIC POLICY THAT IMPACTS THE HEALTH AND WELFARE OF NEW MEXICANS. WE CONDUCTED RESEARCH AND HELPED DEVELOP POLICIES ON HEALTH CARE REFORM THAT WOULD INCREASE ACCESS AND AFFORDABILITY; RESEARCHED AND ANALYZED POLICIES ON REDUCING GLOBAL WARMING, TAXATION AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AND ETHICS IN GOVERNMENT. WE ALSO EDUCATED THE PUBLIC THROUGHOUT THE YEAR ABOUT NUMEROUS HEALTH AND WELFARE ISSUES IN NEW MEXICO. WE WORKED TO INCREASE CIVIC PARTICIPATION WITH THE GET OUT THE VOTE PROGRAM FOR VARIOUS ELECTIONS.
