HEALTH INFORMATION EXCHANGE: DEVELOPMENT AND IMPLEMENTATION OF HEALTH INFORMATION EXCHANGE (HIE) TO SUPPORT COMMUNITIES. SERVICES INCLUDE THE DEVELOPMENT, IMPLEMENTATION AND SUPPORT OF SECURE SYSTEMS AND PROCESSING FOR SHARING CLINICAL INFORMATION WHICH INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: CLINICAL MESSAGING, RESULTS DELIVERY, LONGITUDINAL CLINICAL INFORMATION PROVIDED AT THE POINT OF CARE AS WELL AS PATIENT EVENT NOTIFICATION. SERVICES ARE EXPECTED TO FACILITATE TIMELINESS AND ACCURACY OF HEALTH DATA, WORKFLOW AND TO ELIMINATE REDUNDANT SERVICES.
