WE PARTICIPATED IN A VIBRANT QUILT SHOW INCLUDING SPECIAL EXHIBITS, LECTURES, WORKSHOPS AND DEMONSTRATIONS. MEMERS SHOWCASED THEIR QUILTS AND PRESENTED INFORMATION ABOUT THE RICH HISTORY OF AFRICAN AMERICAN QUILTERS.

JUNETEENTH CELEBRATION ATLANTA HISTORY CENTER BROWN SUGAR QUILTERS PARTIPATED IN THE JUNETEENTH CELEBRATION FOR THE PUBLIC AT THE ATLANTA HISTORY CENTER. THE MEMBERS DISPLAYED QUILTS, PRESENTED QUILT TALKS, DEMONSTRATED SEWING AND QUILTING METHODS, AND WORKED ON A MAKE-AND-TAKE QUILT BLOCK PROJECT WITH ADULTS AND CHILDREN.
