RAW INSPIRATION'S MISSION IS TO EDUCATE CHILDREN AND ADULTS ON THE IMPORTANCE OF A HEALTHY DIET, ESPECIALLY ON THE IMPORTANCE OF EATING FRESH FRUITS AND VEGETABLES DAILY. THIS IS IN CONJUNCTION WITH A GOOD EXERCISE REGIME AS WELL. TO THIS END, RAW INSPIRATION WAS ESTABLISHED TO BE A PUBLICLY SUPPORTED, NOT-FOR-PROFIT ORGANIZATION THAT PROVIDES GRANTS AND AWARDS TO SCHOOLS FOR THE PURPOSES OF INSTALLING ORGANIC GARDENS AND ORCHARDS ON THE SCHOOLS PREMISES.WITH THE SUCCESSFUL IMPLEMENTATION OF THIS PRIMARY MISSION, WE HAVE EXPERIENCED AN OVERWHELMING INTEREST IN OUR PROGRAM WITH PARENTS OF THE SCHOOL CHILDREN AND THE RESIDENTS IN THE NEIGHBORING VICINITIES OF THE SCHOOLS. WITH THE COMMUNITIES GROWING INTEREST IN OUR MISSION, THE CHALLENGE WAS TO IMPLEMENT OUR PROGRAMS NOT ONLY INSIDE THE SCHOOLS BUT ALSO IN THE NEIGHBORHOODS SURROUNDING THE SCHOOLS. BEGINNING IN 2006, WE IMPLEMENTED A PROGRAM OF DISTRIBUTING FRUIT TREES AND VEGETABLES PLANTS AND SEEDS FREE OF CHARGE TO ANY INDIVIDUAL OR

THE ORGANIZATION CONTINUES TO FUND ORGANIC GARDENS IN SCHOOLS THROUGH ITS GRANT PROGRAMS AND SETS UP AND OPERATES NEIGHBORHOOD FARMERS MARKETS WHERE LOCALLY GROWN ORGANIC AND FRESH PRODUCE IS MARKETED DIRECTLY TO THE PUBLIC.
