SOUTH EAST ASIA - IN 2017 GGN LAUNCHED A NEW INITITATIVE AMOUNG THE ETHIC TRIBES IN NORHTERN MYANMAR. WORKING WITH ELEVEN DIFFERENT INDIGENEOUS TRIBES BY DEVELOPING A PLAN TO CONSTRUCT AN ADDITION ON A BIBLE SCHOOL FOR 2018. WE TOOK IN HAND HELD, SOLAR POWERED DEVICES USED AS TEACHING TOOLS AND WORKING WITH LEADERS MADE A PLAN TO BRING BACK A MEDICAL TEAM. GGN CONTINUES TO SEE PHU LY REDEMPTION HOUSE HOME FOR CHILDREN IN VIETNAM GROW TO 102 CHILDREN. OUR TEAM TOOK THE "SHOE THAT GROWS TO EACH CHILD. MONTHLY PROVIDE RICE, NOODLES, MEAT, FRUIT, AND VEGATABLES FOR THE CHILDREN.
MIDDLE EAST/EUROPE - OUR WORK IN ISREAL HAS EXPENDED. ON NOVEMBER 15, 2017 GGN SHIPPED TEN TONS OF MEDICAL SUPPLIES IN A 40' CONTAINER OF MEDICAL SUPPLIES, VALUED AT $300K TO ASHDOD, ISREAL WHERE IT WAS TRUCKED TO THE GOLAN. IN 2018 A TEAM WILL TRAVEL TO ISREAL, TO MEET THE CONTAINER AND FACILITATE MOVING THE SUPPLIES INTO SYRIA TO PROVIDE MEDICAL CARE FOR REUGEES. OUR WORK WITH NAOMI'S WIDOWS AND ORPHANS FOOD BANK ALSOCONTINUES PROVIDING FRUIT, VEGATABLES, AND DRY AND CANNED GOODS TO APPROXIMATELY 80 FAMILY GROUPS PER MONTH. FOR TRAINING AND RENEWAL FOR HUNDREDS OF RELIGIOUS, BUSINESS AND CIVIC LEADERS FROM ACROSS NORTH AFRICA.
INDIA - GGN DRILLED 20 MORE WATER WELLS IN INDIA'S LARGEST STATE, RAJASTHAN, WHICH BORDERS PAKISTAN. BRINGING THE TOTAL TO 101 NEW WATER WELLS, WE ARE WORKING NEAR THE CITY OF UDAIPUR, A HIGH DESERT,MOUNTAINOUS REGION WHERE WATER IS IN SHORT SUPPLY AND VILLAGERS OFTEN CARRY WATER GREAT DISTANCES FOR THEIR DAY-TO-DAY NEEDS. THESE WATER WELL PROJECTS ARE ONE OF OUR PRIMARY HUMANITARIAN EFFORTS IN NATIVE VILLAGES.
