TO PROVIDE COUNSELING, HOUSING, IMMIGRATION ASSISTANCE, BREAST CANCER SCEREENING TO LIMITED ENGLISH SPEAKING AND LOW INCOME INDIVIDUALS IN WASHINGTON DC METRO AREA.

THE GRACE CHRISTIAN ACADEMY FOUNDATION EXISTS TO SUPPORT, BENEFIT, AND ASSIST GRACE CHRISTIAN ACADEMY IN ITS MISSION TO NURTURE ITS SCHOLARS AND REACH OUT TO THE COMMUNITY WITH A BIBLE-BASED CHRISTIAN EDUCATION. GRACE CHRISTIAN ACADEMY SERVES AN EXTRAORDINARILY DIVERSE STUDENT BODY, REFLECTIVE OF OUR AREA OF FAIRFAX COUNTY. MANY OF OUR STUDENTS COME FROM FAMILIES LIVING AT OR NEAR THE FEDERAL POVERTY LINE. BECAUSE GCA DOES NOT TURN AWAY ANYONE DUE TO FINANCIAL HARDSHIP, THEY ARE WILLING TO PROVIDE FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO THOSE IN NEED. THE GRACE CHRISTIAN ACADEMY FOUNDATION EXISTS TO RAISE FUNDS FOR THIS FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE.

The goal of this organization is to promote or provide access to a variety of visual arts, including organizations that focus on an art form in a specific medium such as stained glass or textiles.

MISSION:

CREATE AND MAINTAIN AN ASSOCIATION OF FOREST PRODUCTS BUSINESSES THAT ARE INTERESTED IN IMPROVING THE MANAGEMENT AND HEALTH OF FEDERALLY OWNED FORESTS AND PROVIDING AN INCREASED SUPPLY OF TIMBER FROM THEM TO SUPPORT LOCAL FOREST PRODUCT INDUSTRIES AND COMMUNITIES. IN DOING SO, THE ASSOCIATION WILL, AMONG OTHER THINGS, REPRESENT THE MEMBERSHIP BEFORE CONGRESS, STATE LEGISLATURES, THE COURTS, APPROPRIATE STATE OR FEDERAL AGENCIES, AND PRIVATE ORGANIZATIONS.

APACAF'S MISSION IS TO PRESERVE CULTURAL HERITAGE THROUGH THE EXCHANGE AND EXHIBIT OF THE PERFORMING ARTS, EDUCATIONAL, CULTURAL, AND SOCIAL FUNCTIONS BETWEEN ETHNIC GROUPS OF ASIAN HERITAGE IN AMERICA. APACAF ALSO SERVES AS A FISCAL AGENT FOR COMMUNITY AND VOLUNTEER-BASED GROUPS THAT ARE ORGANIZED FOR CHARITABLE, EDUCATIONAL, RECREATIONAL, AND SOCIAL WELFARE PURPOSES. THESE GROUPS SERVE FAMILIES THAT MAY BE EXPERIENCING FINANCIAL BURDENS.

The goal of this organization is to provide paid employment opportunities in a controlled, protected environment for people with disabilities who are unable to obtain competitive employment. Also included are work activity centers which provide personal and social development opportunities for participants who have demonstrated inconsequential production capacity.

The goal of this organization are the organizations whose activities focus on influencing public policy within the Civil Rights, Social Action, Advocacy major group area. Includes a variety of activities from public education and influencing public opinion to lobbying national and state legislatures.
