THE MISSION OF THE SALT LAKE CITY BICYCLE COLLECTIVE IS TO PROMOTE CYCLING AS AN EFFECTIVE AND SUSTAINABLE FORM OF TRANSPORTATION AND AS A CORNERSTONE OF A CLEANER, HEALTHIER, AND SAFER SOCIETY. THE BICYCLE COLLECTIVE PROVIDES REFURBISHED BICYCLES AND EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS TO THE COMMUNITY, FOCUSING ON CHILDREN AND LOWER INCOME HOUSEHOLDS.

THE SLFS MISSION IS TO PRESENT A DIVERSITY OF FILM EXHIBITION AND RELATED CULTURAL EVENTS THAT EDUCATE, ADVOCATE, AND INFORM THE ENTIRE COMMUNITY ABOUT AND THROUGH CINEMA.

OPERATES EXCLUSIVELY FOR THE BENEFIT OF, TO PERFORM THE FUNCTIONS OF, AND/OR CARRY OUT THE PURPOSES OF CREWE FOUNDATION, A UTAH NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION, WHICH IS EXEMPT UNDER SECTION 501(C)(3) OF THE INTERNAL REVENUE CODE.

These are the most common type of private foundation. They are generally endowed, usually from a single individual or family. Private foundations are considered family foundations if relatives or the original donor are still active on the board of trustees or in the operation of the foundation.
