THE CORPORATION OF THE ROCKY MOUNTAIN BIOLOGICAL LABORATORY AT GOTHIC (RMBL) ADVANCES THE SCIENTIFIC UNDERSTANDING OF NATURE THAT PROMOTES INFORMED STEWARDSHIP OF THE EARTH.

The goal of this organization are the nongovernmental, nonprofit organizations with funds (usually from a single source, such as an individual, family or corporation) and programs managed by its own trustees or directors, established to maintain or aid social, educational, religious or other charitable activities serving the common welfare, primarily through grantmaking.

The goal of this organization are the private foundations that make grants based on charitable endowments. Because of their endowments, they are focused primarily on grantmaking and generally do not actively raise funds or seek public financial support. These are the most common type of private foundation. They are generally endowed, usually from a single individual or family. SUBJECT TO THE FOREGOING, THE SPECIFIC PURPOSES AND OBJECTIVES OF THE CORPORATION SHALL INCLUDE BUT NOT BE LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING: (A)PLANNING, OBTAINING APPROVAL FOR, CONSTRUCTING, OPERATING, MAINTAINING, AND REPAIRING A FIRE STATION TO BE UTILIZED BY THE GUNNISON COUNTY FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT TO SERVE THE TAYLOR RIVER CANYON AREA OF GUNNISON COUNTY, COLORADO; (B) TO ESTABLISH AND MAINTAIN A VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT TO PROVIDE FIRE PROTECTION SERVICES IN COORDINATION WITH THE GUNNISON COUNTY FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT; AND (C) SOLICITING, COLLECTING, AND SPENDING DONATIONS IN FURTHERANCE OF (A)AND (B), ABOVE.

CBMBA'S MISSION IS TO BUILD, MAINTAIN, AND ADVOCATE FOR SUSTAINABLE TRAILS AND TO CONSERVE THE LANDSCAPE OF CRESTED BUTTE AND BEYOND.

TO PROVIDE A WIDE VARIETY OF LIVE MUSIC PERFORMANCES INCLUDING ORCHESTRA, CHAMBER MUSIC, JAZZ, AND BLUEGRASS DURING A SUMMER CONCERT SERIES OF ABOUT 40 EVENTS. CBMF ALSO PROVIDES AND SUPPORTS MUSIC EDUCATION PROGRAMS FOR ADULTS AND CHILDREN.

TO PROVIDE SUPPORT TO CANCER PATIENTS IN NEED OF FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE AND COUNSELING AT NO COST.

A REGGIO EMILIA INSPIRED PLAY-BASED PRESCHOOL USING THE PYRAMID PLUS APPROACH IN TEACHING TO PROMOTE THE SOCIAL AND EMOTIONAL DEVELOPMENT AND INCLUSION OF ALL CHILDREN.
