US CENSUS DATA CONSERVATIVELY ESTIMATES THAT THERE ARE 60,000 EMPTY BEDROOMS THROUGHOUT SONOMA COUNTY AMONG THIS POPULATION. THE CENSUS ALSO ESTIMATES THAT AGING BABY BOOMERS ARE PROJECTED TO OUTNUMBER CHILDREN FOR THE FIRST TIME IN US HISTORY. THIS GROWING POPULATION THROUGHOUT SONOMA COUNTY IS CURRENTLY 39% OF THE TOTAL POPULATION. THESE EMPTY BEDROOMS REPRESENT INEXPENSIVE, IMMEDIATE, PERMANENT/LONG-TERM HOUSING FOR THOSE IN NEED OF HOUSING, WHETHER HOMELESS OR AT RISK OF HOMELESSNESS. SHARES FOCUS IS ON SENIORS WHO ARE MOSTL
