MISSION:

The goal of this organization is to build, rehabilitate, manage and/or provide rental housing for low-income individuals and families, older adults and people with disabilities; or which make purchasable housing available to low or moderate income families by offering lower priced housing and/or affordable payment plans, by arranging for interest or mortgage subsidies or by involving eventual owners in the construction process (sweat equity).

THE LOCAL IS A NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION FOR THE NATIONAL POSTAL MAIL HANDLERS UNION TO UNITE, FOR ITS OWN ADVANCEMENT AND BETTERMENT, MUTUAL COOPERATION, ORGANIZING THE UNORGANIZED, COLLECTIVE BARGAINING, PROMOTE AND ADVANCE ECONOMIC AND SOCIAL OBJECTIVES FOR ITS MEMBERS.

COMMUNITY ACTION NORTH BAY (CANB) STRENGTHENS COMMUNITIES BY PROVIDING HOUSING AND SAFETY NET SERVICES TO ASSIST THOSE IN NEED TO LIVE HEALTHY AND PRODUCTIVE LIVES. WE SERVE VETERANS, THE PHYSICALLY AND MENTALLY DISABLED, SENIORS AND OTHER VULNERABLE POPULATIONS LIVING IN SOLANO COUNTY WHO ARE SOCIALLY AND ECONOMICALLY AT RISK.

PROVIDE AFFORDABLE HOUSING AS OWNER OF A 15-UNIT SENIOR CITIZEN LOW-INCOME RENTAL APARTMENT COMPLEX, FUNDED BY HUD, LOCATED IN WOODLAND, CA.

THE SOLANO COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIP FOUNDATION AWARDS SCHOLARSHIPS TO SOLANO COLLEGE STUDENTS ON THE BASIS OF ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT AND DEMONSTRATED POTENTIAL FOR EXCELLENCE.

ADVOCATES FOR ABUSED, NEGLECTED AND OTHER IDENTIFIED CHILDREN WITHIN THE COURT SYSTEM, WITH THE BELIEF THAT EVERY CHILD IS ENTITLED TO A SAFE AND STABLE HOME.
