THE BURRILLVILLE LAND TRUST IS DEDICATED TO MAINTAINING THE TOWN'S RURAL CHARACTER BY PRESERVING OPEN SPACE, PROTECTING THE BEAUTY AND VIABILITY OF OUR FARMS, AND PRESERVING THE WOODLANDS, MEADOWS, PONDS, AND RIVERS AROUND US.

THE TAVERN HALL SOCIETY WAS ORGANIZED TO PRESERVE, PROMOTE AND MAINTAIN THE HISTORICAL ASSETS OF THE VILLAGE OF KINGSTON AND THE TOWN OF SOUTH KINGSTOWN.

THE NEWPORT TREE CONSERVANCY IS DEDICATED TO FOSTERING A HEALTHY GROWING URBAN FOREST IN THE CITY OF NEWPORT, RHODE ISLAND THOUGH A PERMANENT TREE MANAGEMENT AND PLANTING PROGRAM, FOR THE BENEFIT OF PRESENT AND FUTURE CITIZENS OF NEWPORT.

The goal of this organization is to preserve and protect endangered land resources from indiscriminate development, destruction or decay and which manage the utilization of renewable and nonrenewable resources to ensure ongoing availability. Included are conservation of the nations forests, rangeland, vegetation, deserts, wild and scenic rivers and other wilderness areas and open land spaces; and reestablishment of areas that have been devastated by destructive activities such as strip mining or other destructive activities.

GROUNDWORK RHODE ISLAND IS A COMMUNITY-BASED ENVIRONMENTAL ORGANIZATION DEDICATED TO CREATING HEALTHIER AND MORE RESILIENT URBAN COMMUNITIES IN RHODE ISLAND. WE ACHIEVE THIS THROUGH OUR MANY URBAN STEWARDSHIP PROGRAMS, WHICH CREATE ECONOMIC OPPORTUNITY FOR RHODE ISLAND'S URBAN RESIDENTS, AND AT THE SAME TIME PHYSICALLY IMPROVE OUR SHARED URBAN ENVIRONMENT, ESPECIALLY IN ECONOMICALLY-DISTRESSED AREAS. WE BELIEVE OUR MISSION CAN ONLY BE ACHIEVED BY MEETING THE COMMUNITY'S DUAL NEEDS OF ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABILITY AND ECONOMIC PROSPERITY IN PARTNERSHIP WITH RESIDENTS, BUSINESSES, AND OTHER PARTNERS.
