THE SACRAMENTO POLICE FOUNDATION IS DEDICATED TO PROMOTING PUBLIC SAFETY IN THE SACRAMENTO COMMUNITY BY STRENGTHENING AND ENCOURAGING PUBLIC INVOLVEMENT AND COMMUNITY RELATIONS WITH THE CITIZENRY OF SACRAMENTO AND BY PROMOTING, FOSTERING AND SUPORTING THE BETTERMENT OF THE SACRAMENTO POLICE DEPARTMENT.THE FOUNDATION'S PURPOSE IS TO HELP PLAN AND FUND THE ACTIVITIES AND PROGRAMS THAT FALL OUTSIDE THE RANGE OF THE NORMAL DUTIES OF THE SACRAMENTO POLICE DEPARTMENT, BUT BENEFIT THE COMMUNITY IN A VARIETY OF WAYS.

MISSION:

ASSOCIATION RELIEF FUND WAS FORMED TO PROVIDE ASSISTANCE TO PUBLIC SAFETY PERSONNEL, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, POLICE OFFICERS, FIREFIGHTERS, AND THEIR FAMILIES WHO MAY HAVE FALLEN UPON HARD TIMES.

MISSION:

TO PROMOTE, ENHANCE, AND EXPAND LAW ENFORCEMENT IN THE LATIN AMERICAN COMMUNITY IN A POSITIVE MANNER THROUGH COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT AND COOPERATION.

LEVA IS COMMITTED TO CREATING AND DELIVERING QUALITY VIDEO/AUDIO FORENSIC TRAINING AND CERTIFICATIONS TO A GLOBAL FORENSIC COMMUNITY.

TO DEVELOP, ENHAND AND PROMOTE PROFESSIONALISM OF THE SHERIFFS OFFICES; ASSURE THE HIGHEST STANDARDS OF FAIRNESS, EQUALITY AND PROFESSIONALISM IN PUBLIC SAFETY AND SERVICES; AND TO DEVELOP AND IMPLEMENT PROGRAMS TO MEET THE PERSONAL NEEDS OF INDIVIDUAL COMMUNITIES.

THE ASSOCIATION SUPPORTS THE UNDERFUNDED AND UNFUNDED NEEDS OF THE WASHOE COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE INVOLVING TRAINING, EQUIPPING AND SUPPLYING THE NEEDS OF THE AGENCY IN CARRYING OUT ITS LAW ENFORCEMENT MISSIONS AS WELL AS SPRINKLING FUNDS TO LOCAL SOCIAL SERVICE AGENCIES IN CARRYING OUT ITS LAW ENFORCEMENT DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES.

WE EDUCATE OUR FUTURE LAW ENFORCEMENT PROFESSIONALS THROUGH OUR ANNUAL STATE CONFERENCE AND BY PROVIDING SCHOLARSHIPS FOR POST-SECONDARY EDUCATION. WE ARE GUIDED BY OUR CORE VALUES OF TEAMWORK, DEDICATION, QUALITY AND SERVICE.
