The goal of this organization is to provide support services to patients and their families. Programs can include social and recreational activities for people who are recovering from surgery or a serious illnesses; supportive services for children who are ill and for their families which enable family members to remain with a child who is hospitalized; family and sibling support groups, and programs which attempt to make a gravely or terminally ill child’s final days, weeks and months more pleasant. THE RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE OF DELAWARE SERVES FAMILIES WITH SERIOUSLY ILL CHILDREN BY ENABLING ACCESS TO MEDICAL CARE AND PROVIDING A PLACE THAT OFFERS COMFORT, HOPE AND TOGETHERNESS.

MISSION:

WE PROVIDE A "HOME AWAY FROM HOME" FOR FAMILIES WHOSE CHILDREN (18 AND UNDER) ARE UNDERGOING TREATMENT AT MADISON AREA HEALTH CARE FACILITIES. THE HOUSE ALLOWS FAMILIES TO STAY TOGETHER DURING AN OFTEN VERY DIFFICULT TIME.

TO PROVIDE A SUPPORTIVE HOME-AWAY-FROM-HOME FOR FAMILIES OF CHILDREN RECEIVING MEDICAL CARE AT RILEY HOSPITAL FOR CHILDREN AT INDIANA UNIVERSITY HEALTH AND OTHER AREA HOSPITALS.

THE MISSION OF THE ORGANIZATION IS TO FIND, CREATE, AND SUPPORT PROGRAMS THAT DIRECTLY IMPROVE THE HEALTH AND WELL-BEING OF CHILDREN AND FAMILIES.RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE (RMH) IS THE CORNERSTONE PROGRAM OF RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE CHARITIES OF CENTRAL FLORIDA (RMHCCF). THE RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE PROGRAM PROVIDES A HOME AWAY FROM HOME FOR FAMILIES WITH SERIOUSLY OR CHRONICALLY ILL, OR CRITICALLY INJURED CHILDREN BEING TREATED AT PEDIATRIC HOSPITALS IN ORLANDO.

RMHC-OKC ENABLES FAMILY CENTERED CARE BY PROVIDING MEALS, ACCOMODATIONS AND SUPPORT SO FAMILIES CAN STAY TOGETHER NEAR THEIR HOSPITALIZED CHILD. IN 2021, THE CHARITY PROVIDED SERVICES AT NO CHARGE TO 293 FAMILIES.

TO PROVIDE A SAFE AND CARING HOME AWAY FROM HOME FOR THE FAMILIES OF CHILDREN RECEIVING ESSENTIAL MEDICAL SERVICES IN SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS.

DAVID'S HOUSE PROVIDES A HOME AWAY FROM HOME ENVIRONMENT FOR FAMILIES OF SICK OR INJURED CHILDREN.

RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE IS A HOME-AWAY FROM HOME FOR THE FAMILIES OF CHILDREN WHO COME TO MEDICAL FACILITIES IN GALVESTON FOR DIAGNOSIS AND TREAMENT OF SERIOUS AND LONG-TERM ILLNESSES. THIS TYPE OF FACILITY OFFERS PARENTS AND THEIR CHILDREN EMOTIONAL SUPPORT, CHEERFUL SURROUNDINGS, AND INEXPENSIVE, SAFE RESIDENTIAL ACCOMODATIONS.
