THE GRASSROOT INSTITUTE OF HAWAII SEEKS TO EDUCATE PEOPLE ABOUT THE VALUES OF INDIVIDUAL LIBERTY, ECONOMIC FREEDOM AND ACCOUNTABLE GOVERNMENT BY ANALYZING THE EFFECTS OF HAWAII'S REGULATORY ENVIRONMENT. THE INSTITUTE ALSO PRODUCES SCHOLARLY ECONOMIC RESEARCH, EDUCATIONAL EVENTS, FOR POLICYMAKERS AND CITIZENS, AND A WEBSITE WHICH INCLUDES PUBLICATIONS, COMENTARY AND CONTENT. CONTRACT SERVICES.
THE ECONONIC EFFECTS OF THE JONES ACT ARE WELL DOCUMENTED.
