HAPI'S ACTIVITIES CONSIST PRIMARILY OF VARIOUS ACTIVITIES TO EDUCATE ITS MEMBERSHIP, GOVERNMENT AGENCIES, AND DESIGN CONSULTANTS, AND TO ADVANCE TECHNICAL STANDARDS IN THE ASPHALT PAVING INDUSTRY. DURING THE TAX YEAR, THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDED 44 WORKSHOPS, TOTALING 874 PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT HOURS, ATTENDED BY 390 INDIVIDUALS. THE HAPI TRAINING PROGRAM AND HAPI SHORTS LUNCH TIME LESSONS FULFILLS OUR GOAL TO PROVIDE ENGINEERING PROMOTION AND EDUCATION TO ADVANCE THE CONTINUING USE OF ASPHALT PAVEMENT AND PAVEMENT TREATMENTS THROUGHOUT THE STATE. THE GOAL OF THESE PROGRAMS IS TO PROVIDE EDUCATIONAL SEMINARS AND WORKSHOPS THAT ARE REGULARLY SCHEDULED, ALLOWING COMPANIES TO PLAN AND BUDGET FOR THEIR TRAINING NEEDS.
