THE WOMAN'S CLUB OF PLAYA DEL REY IS A DIVERSE GROUP OF WOMEN THAT VOLUNTEER THEIR TIME, TALENTS AND ENERGY TO SUPPORT AND PROMOTE CIVIC, CULTURAL AND EDUCATIONAL EFFORTS IN PLAYA DEL REY, SILICON BEACH AND SURROUNDING COMMUNITIES. THE PURPOSE IS TO IMPROVE THE COMMUNITY AND ENHANCE THE LIFE OF OTHERS THROUGH VOLUNTEERISM. THE CLUB'S PHILOSOPHY IS TO, "HONOR THE PAST, CELEBRATE THE PRESENT AND PREPARE FOR THE FUTURE". THE ORGANIZATION OWNS A 50+ YEAR OLD COMMERCIAL BUILDING THAT IS USED TO EARN RENTAL INVESTMENT INCOME. THE ORGANIZATION HAS THE INTENT AND ABILITY FINANCIALLY TO REPAIR AND MAINTAIN THE BUILDING AT ITS CURRENT PRESERVED STATE.
