ESTABLISHED IN 2011, FICPFM IS A NETWORK OF OVER 50 CIVIL AND HUMAN RIGHTS ORGANIZATIONS LED BY POLICY EXPERTS, SUBJECT MATTER EXPERTS, ORGANIZERS, THOUGHT-LEADERS, ARTISTS, HEALERS, AND ATTORNEYS WHO ALSO HAVE CONVICTION HISTORIES OR ARE FAMILY MEMBERS WHO ARE CLOSELY INVOLVED WITH PEOPLE LIVING WITH CONVICTION HISTORIES.
RE-ENTRY HOUSING: THROUGH SAFE HOMES, A NEW WAY OF LIFE SERVED WOMEN, MOTHERS OFMINOR CHILDREN AND ADULT CHILDREN. THE ORGANIZATION ALSO HELPED WOMEN ACCESS EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES, AND HELPED WOMEN SEEKING EMPLOYMENT GET JOBS,HELPED CHILDREN FORMALLY REUNITE WITH THEIR MOTHERS AND WOMEN WERE ABLE TO ACCESS PERMANENT HOUSING.
