COMMUNITY ASSET BUILDING: AFFORDABLE HOUSING, COMMUNITY ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AND SOCIAL ENTERPRISES - THAI CDC CONTINUES TO OPERATE A 60 UNIT AFFORDABLE SENIOR HOUSING COMPLEX AND A 46 UNIT AFFORDABLE MULTI-FAMILY HOUSING COMPLEX; OFFER SMALL BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT ASSISTANCE; ANDHELD THE EAST HOLLYWOOD CERTIFIED FARMERS' MARKET TO BRING AFFORDABLE FRESH PRODUCE TO LOW-INCOME RESIDENTS.
HEALTHY COMMUNITIES AND COMMUNITY EMPOWERMENT: THAI CDC CONTINUES TO ENGAGE IN NEIGHBORHOOD DEVELOPMENT, CIVIC ENGAGEMENT AND IMMIGRANT INTEGRATION ACTIVITIES THROUGH OUR NEIGHBORHOOD CHANGE INITIATIVES.
SOCIAL AND HUMAN SERVICES: THAI CDC PROVIDED CASE MANAGEMENT SERVICES IN THE AREAS OF PUBLIC BENEFITS, LABOR, TRAFFICKING, AND IMMIGRATION AND FAMILY LAW. THAI CDC ALSO IMPLEMENTED THAI CDC COVID AID, RAPID RESPONSE, RELIEF AND EMERGENCY SERVICES (THAI CDC CARES) AT THE OUTSET OF COVID-19 ON MARCH 13, 2020 TO PROVIDE CASH AND FOOD AID, COVID-19 TESTING AND VACCINATIONS, AND HEALTH EDUCATION AND OUTREACH IN AN EFFORT TO MITIGATE THE ADVERSE IMPACT OF THE PANDEMIC ON VULNERABLE MEMBERS OF THE COMMUNITY.
