THE MTRC SUMMER PROGRAM OF 2021 WAS CANCELLED DUE TO COVID-19. STUDENTS WERE NOT ALLOWED TO BE ON SCHOOL CAMPUSES AND THE MTRC SUMMER PROGRAM IS NOT AN ONLINE/REMOTE DISTANT LEARNING EXPERIENCE FOR STUDENTS.PLEASE NOTE THAT DUE TO THE ONGOING COVID-19 PANDEMIC, OUR ORGANIZATION WAS ONCE AGAIN FORCED TO CANCEL OUR SCHEDULED SUMMER PROGRAM OF 2021 (JUST AS WE HAD BEEN FORCED TO CANCEL OUR SUMMER PROGRAM OF 2020 THE PREVIOUS YEAR). OUR ORGANIZATION CONTACTED ALL OF THE FOUNDATIONS THAT HAD AWARDED OUR MTRC PROGRAM GRANT FUNDS FOR THE SUMMER OF 2020, AND HAD ALLOWED OUR ORGANIZATION TO APPLY THOSE FUNDS TO THE SUMMER OF 2021, ASKING THEM TO ONCE AGAIN ALLOW OUR ORGANIZATION TO KEEP THOSE AWARDED FUNDS AND APPLYING THEM TO THE (HOPEFULLY WILL BE) SUMMER OF 2022 PROGRAM AND OUR ONGOING OVERHEAD EXPENSES. ALL OF OUR SUPPORTING FOUNDATIONS AGREED TO THIS REQUEST.
