THE GIBBON CONSERVATION CENTERS MISSION IS TO ENSURE THE LONG-TERM SURVIVAL OF THREATENED GIBBON APES THROUGH EDUCATION AND ADVOCACY.

THE GIBBON SUPPORT PROGRAM OFFERS ADVICE ON THE CARE OF GIBBON APES, BOTH ONSITE AND OFFSITE, TO ZOOS, GOVERNMENT AGENCIES, AND GIBBON RESCUE CENTERS THROUGHOUT THE WORLD. THE CORE PURPOSE OF OUR PROGRAM IS THE CARE OF GIBBON APES, INCLUDING PROVIDING NATURAL HABITATS, FEEDING, AND CARE FOR 5 DIFFERENT SPECIES. THESE SPECIES RANGE FROM BEING CLASSIFIED AS VULNERABLE TO ENDANGERED BY THE INTERNATIONAL UNION FOR CONSERVATION OF NATURE (IUCN). OUR GIBBON POPULATION LIVING ONSITE WAS 38 GIBBON APES IN 2020.


THE CONSERVATION & EDUCATION PROGRAM OPERATES A NATURAL HABITAT FOR GIBBONS, DEDICATED TO THE CARE AND CONSERVATION OF THE SPECIES. THE GIBBON CONSERVATION CENTER OFFERS TOURS AND EDUCATIONAL SEMINARS TO THE PUBLIC.
