SUBSIDIZED CHILD CARE PROGRAMS: OPERATES A COUNTY-WIDE PROGRAM OF SERVICES FOR LOW INCOME CHILDREN AND FAMILIES, INCLUDING SUBSIDIES FOR CHILD CARE SERVICES FOR 2,665 FAMILIES AND 4,634 CHILDREN. STAFF HANDLED 2,732 TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE CALLS TO PROVIDERS AND PROVIDED COMMUNITY OUTREACH ACTIVITIES INCLUDING TRAINING, WORKSHOPS, SITE VISITS AND LICENSING ORIENTATION TO APPROXIMATELY 977 PROVIDERS.
