THE MUSEUM EXISTS TO EDUCATE PRESENT AND FUTURE GENERATIONS BY COLLECTING, EXHIBITING, RESTORING, AND MAINTAINING ARTIFACTS AND HISTORICAL AIRCRAFT FOR PUBLIC VIEWING. MOST YEARS OVER 70,000 VISITORS ARE SERVED ANNUALLY INCLUDING SENIORS, VETERANS AND SCHOOL CHILDREN. THIS IS A BLUE STAR MUSEUM THAT HAS INCREASED THE AIRCRAFT UNDER CARE TO OVER 100. THE INVENTORY NOW INCLUDES A 149-FOOT NASA SOLID ROCKET BOOSTER. COLLECTIONS STORAGE HAS BEEN INCREASED BY OVER 110% ENSURING A SAFE HOME FOR THE OVER 20,000 ARTIFACTS CURRENTLY IN OUR CARE. WE HAVE COMPLETED THE RESTORATION OF A F-101 VOODOO AIR DEFENSE INTERCEPTOR ONCE FLOWN BY COLONEL JACK VETH, FAMED SR-71 BLACKBIRD PILOT. 2021 SAW THE OPENING OF A FULLY IMMERSIVE EXHIBIT TITLED "THE EXPLORATION OF SPACE". MANY OTHER ACCOMPLISHMENTS AND MORE TO COME.
