TO CONDUCT A BUSINESS LEAGUE IN THE FIELD OF SURGERY; TO ENGAGE IN RESEARCH AND THE ADVANCEMENT OF KNOWLEDGE IN THE FIELD OF SURGERY FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF THE CAPABILITIES OF PERSONS PARTICIPATING IN THE PROFESSION AND TO PROVIDE MEANS OF FURTHERING PROFESSIONAL, TRAINING, DEVELOPMENT OF TECHNICAL BACKGROUND AND PROMOTING EDUCATION OF INDIVIDUALS IN TRAINING OR OTHERWISE EMPLOYED IN THE PROFESSION.
