EFFECTIVE 4/30/2022 THE ORGANIZATION FILED ARTICLES OF DISSOLUTION WITH THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA. THE MISSION OF THE IT GOVERNANCE INSTITUTE (ITGI) IS TO ENHANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE GLOBAL BUSINESS COMMUNITY REGARDING THE GOVERNANCE OF INFORMATION AND INFORMATION SYSTEMS.

IN 2020 THE ISACA AND ITGI BOARD INITIATED THE PROCESS TO DISSOLVE THE INSTITUTE, WHICH IS EXPECTED TO CONCLUDE IN 2022. AS A RESULT, THE ORGANIZATION'S PROGRAM SERVICE ACTIVITIES ARE NO LONGER ACTIVE. THE FOLLOWING DESCRIBES THE ORGANIZATION'S PROGRAM SERVICES PRIOR TO THIS ORGANIZATIONAL CHANGE. IT GOVERNANCE INSTITUTE (ITGI) AND INFORMATION SYSTEMS AUDIT AND CONTROL ASSOCIATION, INC. (ISACA) (RELATED ORGANIZATION) SERVE IT PROFESSIONALS AND ORGANIZATIONS WORLDWIDE THROUGH KNOWLEDGE, CERTIFICATIONS, COMMUNITY, ADVOCACY AND EDUCATION IN THE PROFESSIONAL SPECIALTIES OF THEIR MEMBERS AND ENGAGED PROFESSIONALS.
