THE MISSION OF THE UCLA ALUMNI ASSOCIATION IS TO ENRICH THE LIVES OF ALUMNI AND INVOLVE THEM IN THE FUTURE OF UCLA.

Describe the Organization's Program Activity:

THE ASSOCIATION'S ACTIVITIES, WHICH INVOLVE ALUMNI AND STUDENT VOLUNTEERS, INCLUDE MEMBERSHIP AND RESOURCES DEVELOPMENT ACTIVITIES TO ATTRACT AND RETAIN ALUMNI MEMBERS. THE TRAVEL ACTIVITIES PROGRAM COORDINATES AND FACILITATES TRIPS WITH MEMBERS THAT GIVE THEM AN OPPORTUNITY TO VISIT THE WORLD AND LEARN FROM THE UCLA FACULTY ABOUT THE LOCATIONS.


THE ASSOCIATION SUPPORTS OVER 70 UCLA REGIONAL, INTERNATIONAL, DIVERSITY, AFFINITY, AND STUDENT ALUMNI GROUPS THAT PROMOTE THE GENERAL WELFARE OF UCLA. SERVICE PROGRAMS ARE DESIGNED TO CONNECT AND ENGAGE UCLA STUDENTS, MEMBERS, AND CONSTITUENTS. THE PROGRAMS INCLUDE THE STUDENT ALUMNI ASSOCIATION, AWARD PROGRAMS, CAREER DEVELOPMENT, BRUIN RECRUITMENT, ATHLETIC PARTNERSHIPS, AND SCHOLARSHIPS.


THE ASSOCIATION WORKS CLOSELY WITH UCLA LAKE ARROWHEAD CONFERENCE CENTER. THE MAIN PROGRAM FROM UACC IS THE BRUINWOODS PROGRAM FOR BRUIN FRIENDS AND FAMILY DURING THE SUMMER. THE UCLA LAKE ARROWHEAD CONFERENCE CENTER DID NOT INCUR ANY EXPENSES DUE TO COVID-19 RELATED TRAVEL RESTRICTIONS.
