CROSSROADS WAS FOUNDED IN 1957, LOCATED IN SAN DIEGO, CA AND PROVIDES RESIDENTIAL SERVICES IN A SAFE AND CARING ENVIRONMENT FOR WOMEN 18 YEARS AND OLDER, FROM ALL WALKS OF LIFE. CROSSROADS OPERATES A LONG TERM STRUCTURED PROGRAM THAT PROVIDES A BROAD SPECTRUM OF SERVICES VITAL FOR THE CARE, TREATMENT, AND REHABILITATION OF WOMEN SUFFERING FROM THE DISEASE OF ALCOHOL AND DRUG ADDICTION. CROSSROADS PROVIDES A DENTAL PLAN THAT HELPS WOMEN IN NEED OF RESTORATIVE WORK. CROSSROADS HAS AN ON-SITE, SEVEN STATION COMPUTER LAB TO ASSIST WOMEN IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF COMPUTER SKILLS. CROSSROADS COLLABORATES WITH OTHER ORGANIZATIONS, SOCIAL AND MEDICAL SERVICES, AND NETWORKS THROUGHOUT THE COMMUNITY REGARDING THEIR INVESTMENTS IN THE TREATMENT OF ADDICTION, MENTAL DISORDERS AND TRAUMA ASSOCIATED WITH WOMEN.


NETWORKING AND COLLABORATION INCLUDES PROVIDING VARIOUS ENTITIES WITH INFORMATION REGARDING OUR PROVISIONS. THIS INCLUDES EDUCATIONAL SYSTEMS, TREATMENT CENTERS, SHELTERS, DETENTION CENTERS, LEGAL AND MEDICAL SYSTEMS, HOSPITALS AND OTHER INSTITUTIONS IN AN EFFORT TO ASSURE RESOURCES ARE MADE AVAILABLE TO THE COMMUNITY REGARDING WOMEN IN NEED OF SERVICES. COMMUNITY AWARENESS IS PROVIDED THROUGH THE CROSSROADS WEB SITE, PUBLIC SPEAKING ENGAGEMENTS, COUNTY MEETINGS, AND THROUGH AA/NA MEETINGS.
