AS AN AFFILIATE OF COMMONSPIRIT HEALTH ("COMMONSPIRIT"), BAKERSFIELD MEMORIAL HOSPITAL IS COMMITTED TO IMPROVING THE HEALTH OF THE PEOPLE WE SERVE, ESPECIALLY THOSE WHO ARE VULNERABLE, WHILE WE ADVANCE SOCIAL JUSTICE FOR ALL.

BAKERSFIELD MEMORIAL HOSPITAL'S MISSION IS TO CONTRIBUTE TO THE HEALTH OF THE COMMUNITY THROUGH THE PROVISION OF QUALITY SERVICES DELIVERED IN A COMPASSIONATE AND COST EFFECTIVE MANNER. THE HOSPITAL HAS 413 BEDS AND SERVICED PATIENTS AS FOLLOWS: OUTPATIENT VISITS OF 130,044; EMERGENCY VISITS OF 72,790; INPATIENT AND OUTPATIENT OPERATING ROOM CASES OF 7,945; AND INPATIENT AND OUTPATIENT CARDIAC PROCEDURES OF 3,363. BMH HAS A 24-HOUR EMERGENCY ROOM AND PROVIDES SERVICES TO BENEFICIARIES OF THE MEDICARE PROGRAM AS WELL AS A WIDE RANGE OF COMMERCIALLY INSURED.
