CORONA NORCO UNITED WAY'S FAMILY SUPPORT SERVICES FOCUSES ON PROVIDING CRISIS INTERVENTION, NEEDS ASSESSMENT, SAFETY PLANNING AND PSYCHO-EDUCATION TO ADULTS AND CHILDREN WHO ARE VICTIMS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE. OUR ADULT GED TRAINING PROGRAM FOCUSES ON PROVIDING CLASSROOM STYLE LECTURES, NEEDS ASSESSMENT, FUTURE ACADEMIC PLANNING AND SCHOLARSHIPS TO ADULTS IN OUR COMMUNITY IN ENGLISH AND SPANISH FOR ADULTS WHO ARE IN NEED OF OBTAINING A HIGH SCHOOL EQUIVALENT DIPLOMA. WE ALSO PARTNER WITH AREA AGENCIS SUCH AS THE CORONA NORCO SETTLEMENT HOUSE, THE CITY OF CORONA, THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT AND MORE, TO PROVIDE MUCH NEEDED PROGRAMS AND SERVICES THROUGHOUT OUR SERVICE AREA THAT FOCUS ON EDUCATION, HEALTH, AND FINANCIAL STABILITY.
