NAPA CITY FIREFIGHTERS ASSOCIATION'S MISSION IS TO PROMOTE THE COMMUNITY AWARENESS OF FIREFIGHTERS AND EDUCATION EVENTS. IN ADDITION, THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES SCHOLARSHIPS TO ELIGIBLE HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS AND DONATIONS TO VARIOUS LOCAL CHARITIES.

THE NAPA CITY FIREFIGHTERS ASSOCIATION WAS CREATED IN 1960 TO PROMOTE CHARITABLE, EDUCATIONAL, RECREATIONAL, AND SOCIAL ACTIVITIES WITH THE FIRE DEPARTMENT AND COMMUNITY. IT WAS ALSO FORMED AS A MEANS TO PROVIDE A FELLOWSHIP TO ELEVATE THE MORAL, SOCIAL, AND INTELLECTUAL CONDITIONS OF MEMBERS OF THE ASSOCIATION, IN ORDER TO CULTIVATE A CLOSER FEELING OF FRIENDSHIP AND GOODWILL AMONG ITS MEMBERS, AND TO ENCOURAGE A HIGHER UNDERSTANDING OF THEIR CALLING AS FIREFIGHTERS. THE ORGANIZATION SPONSORS MANY FUNDRAISERS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR, WITH THE TWO MAJOR FUNDRAISERS BEING AN ANNUAL GOLF TOURNAMENT AND A CORN BOOTH AT THE NAPA COUNTY FAIR. THE FUNDS ARE USED TO SPONSOR MANY DIFFERENT ORGANIZATIONS AND CITIZENS THROUGHOUT THE CITY AND COUNTY OF NAPA.
