CHRONIC ILLNESS RECOVERY EXISTS TO PROMOTE AND SUPPORT RECOVERY FROM CHRONIC ILLNESS THROUGH PHYSICIAN SERVICES, PATIENT COUNSELING, INFORMATIONAL MATERIALS, SEMINARS, RESEARCH AND PARTICIPATION IN PUBLIC HEALTH POLICY DESIGN.

CHRONIC ILLNESS RECOVERY CONTINUED OUR MISSION OF INFORMING ABOUT THE SCIENCE OF INFLAMMATION THERAPY AND VITAMIN D RESEARCH. DUE TO PANDEMIC RESTRICTIONS, WE WERE UNABLE TO ATTEND ANY CONFERENCES IN 2021.
DURING 2021, CHRONIC ILLNESS RECOVERY CONTINUED TO ADVISE PATIENTS ENROLLED IN OUR COUNSELING PROGRAM UNDER THE AUSPICES OF THEIR CLINICIANS. THIS SERVICE PROVIDES ASSISTANCE BETWEEN VISITS WITH THEIR MEDICAL PROVIDER AND INCLUDES: IDENTIFYING AND MANAGING SYMPTOMS, LEARNING ABOUT SYMPTOM SELF- ASSESSMENT, COPING WITH STRESSORS RELATED TO CHRONIC ILLNESS, ORGANIZING AND MANAGING MEDICATION, AND ASSESSING PROGRESS. UPDATES ARE PROVIDED TO THE REFERRING CLINICIAN AS NEEDED. WE ALSO COMMUNICATE BY EMAIL OR PHONE WITH PERSONS WORLDWIDE WHO ARE INTERESTED IN OUR SERVICES AND ADVISE THEM AS NEEDED.
