CONSISTENT WITH ITS MISSION TO LESSEN THE BURDEN ON CALIFORNIA TAXPAYERS BY RELIEVING THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA OF ITS OBLIGATIONS TO FUND CERTAIN EXPENDITURES, THE PROTOCOL FOUNDATION SUPPORTED VARIOUS CEREMONIAL EVENTS FOR THE GOVERNOR'S OFFICE, INCLUDING THE GOVERNOR'S ANNUAL STATE OF THE STATE ADDRESS (MARCH 9, 2021), RECEPTIONS AT THE GOVERNOR'S MANSION AND COMMUNITY EVENTS. THE FOUNDATION ALSO FUNDED THE ANNUAL CALIFORNIA STATE CAPITOL TREE LIGHTING CEREMONY (DECEMBER 2, 2021) AND THE ANNUAL CALIFORNIA HALL OF FAME INDUCTION CEREMONY (VIRTUALLY) (OCTOBER 12, 2021).
