GOLDEN GATE OPERA'S MISSION IS TO ENRICH THE COMMUNITY'S EXPERIENCE BY PROVIDING ACCESS TO A MYRIAD OF FINE ARTS FOUND IN LIVE, PROFESSIONAL OPERA. GGO INSPIRES PEOPLE OF ALL AGES, CULTURAL, AND ECONOMIC BACKGROUNDS TO APPRECIATE THE ARTS, IFE AND LEARNING THROUGH HIGH QUALITY PERFORMANCES AND EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS. WE HELP THE ARTFORM OF OPERA LIVE ON FOR THE FUTURE, BY DEVELOPING EMERGIING ARTISTS IN THEIR CAREERS--SINGERS, DESIGNERS, AND DIRECTORS--AND BY PRODUCING NEW WORKS AS PART OF OUR PROGRAMMING.

1. MAY 2019 AN EVENT TITLED "ARIA" WAS HELD IN THE PRIVATE HOME OF MS. SOROKIN WHERE THE BARBEQUE AND DESSERT WAS DONATED.2. OFFERED SCHOOLS CREATIVE EDUCATION ABOUT CIVIL WAR HISTORYMULTI DISCIPLINARY LEARNING WHICH WAS AVAILABLE TO HIGH SCHOOLS & MIDDLE SCHOOLS. THE TITLE OF THE EVENT WAS "EMANCIPATION! LINCOLN'S AFRICAN AMERICAN CONNECTIONS" WHICH WAS A ONE-ACT OPERA (IN ENGLISH) AND CREATED BY COMPOSER JOHN CEPELAK AND LIBRETTIST CHRISTINA ROSE OF MILL VALLEY. IT WAS THEN CONVERTED TO AN ONLINE COURSE FOR SCHOOLS. NO REVENUE GENERATED.
