THE SAN FRANCISCO PUBLIC HEALTH FOUNDATION DEVELOPS AND MOBILIZES RESOURCES IN SUPPORT OF THE GOALS OF THE SAN FRANCISCO DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC HEALTH AND ITS COMMUNITY PARTNERS TO PROTECT AND PROMOTE HEALTH.

SFPHF ACTS AS A FISCAL SPONSOR AND PASSES THROUGH GRANTS TO VARIOUS PROJECTS THAT ARE HOUSED IN THE SAN FRANCISCO DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC HEALTH, INCLUDING PROVIDING HOMELESS HEALTH CARE, COORDINATION CARE FOR FORMERLY INCARCERATED INDIVIDUALS, IMPROVING THE ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH OF INDIVIDUALS AND THE COMMUNITY, PROMOTING HEALTHY LIFESTYLES, IMMUNIZATIONS FOR CHILDREN AND ADULTS, AND PREVENTING TRANSMISSIBLE DISEASES. DURING THE F/Y 2021 - 2022, SFPHF RECEIVED $23,637,451 IN FUNDS (IN ADDITION TO PRIOR YEAR FUNDS RECEIVED) TO PASS THROUGH TO FISCAL SPONSEES, OF WHICH $21,561,145 HAD BEEN DISTRIBUTED BY YEAR END.
