THE ORGANIZATION SUPPORTS SOUTH SLOUGH RESERVE SCIENCE STAFF WITH VISITING SCIENTISTS AND STUDENT INTERNS ON A WIDE RANGE OF TOPICS, INCLUDING WATER QUALITY AND WEATHER MONITORING, CLIMATE CHANGE RESEARCH, SPECIES AND HABITAT RESEARCH AND MONITORING, AND RESTORATION AND STEWARDSHIP PROJECTS.
INTERNSHIP. THE PROCESS OF DEVELOPING AND DELIVERING THE SCIENCE PROGRAMS PRESENTS AMPLE OPPORTUNITY FOR INTERNS TO ASSIST WITH THE COLLECTION OF DATA AND FOR PARTICIPATING IN CONDUCTING SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH.
SCIENCE CAMPS. THE ORGANIZATION SPONSORS SCIENCE CAMPS THAT PROVIDE CHILDREN OPPORTUNITIES FOR HANDS-ON EXPLORATION OF THE OUTDOOR WORLD THROUGH INVESTIGATION, SCIENCE, ART, AND LAUGHTER. ACTIVITIES VARY FROM YEAR TO YEAR.
